Got a phone call last week while at work from a guy that was in Louisville jail. At first I didn’t want to answer it but I was convicted so I did and to my surprise this guy is balling his eyes out and apologizing to me, I don’t believe he realized who he was talking to at first and finally I asked who it was and he then realized and said is Tessa around and I began to assure him that he probably dialed the wrong number. And again this man began to apologize to me and I stopped him and told him no worries! He began to explain why he was crying and told me that he had just got back from court and was sentenced to 32 years…At that moment I felt the Lord and I knew this man had reached an intersection so I asked him brother what is your name he said Nathan, I told him my name and told him to keep his head up that I too have been from that lifestyle maybe not facing that much jail time but I have been there and I just proceeded to encourage this man and as I spoke to him his tears went away and I told him I’ll be praying for him and that I encourage him to talk to God as well! So the phone call ended with the both of us feeling better he might have dialed the wrong number but the Lord knew it was the right number and the right person that he needed to talk to it just blew my mind how God works! Glory goes to him I just did my part thank God…
