Loving others

Matthew 5:14-16 states, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Many times we think a lot about the words we need to say or what we need to tell someone in order to point others in our life to Jesus. However, as the verse above indicates, our actions can often be what truly pushes others to want to know more about Jesus and can really change their perspective. So this week, pray about what you can do to point others to Jesus through your actions, and then go out and do it.
