I read 1 Corinthians 12 regarding the spiritual gifts we are given. I was left with questions: What gift do I have? Why am I wasting the gift that God has given me? God has given me so much potential, why am I afraid to be all that He says I am? I have been praying that God shows me the gifts He has given . I want God to utilize me to glorify His name through helping others with the gift He has given.

Praying for both of us. I’m called to prophetic ministry and music. What a challenge! I was in my early 20’s when I was told this and I have had a lot of challenges. Let me also recommend 1 Corinthians 14, an Ephesians 4:11 to extend your study just a little. Get a topical Bilble, Thomason’s Chain Reference Bible and a subject Bible that way you can extend your study and don’t let opinions get in the way either.

"If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:3 Your heart is desiring what God desires for you--keep praying and pursuing that! While you wait patiently for God's timing, use the measure of love God has given you to humbly serve Him wherever there is a need that you can meet--some service will exhaust and drain you, others will exhaust you, but fill your spirit with peace and joy--those are your spiritual gifts. In both you will be a blessing to others!

Write down your gifts. I think you will be surprised on how many have been given to you. Your awareness will allow to use those that you didn’t realize you had.
