“Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:45‬ ‭NIV‬‬ It seems so odd all those times that they didn’t recognize him! But I see here that it is God who opens peoples eyes (or hardens hearts - as in pharaoh) Let me not ever be proud, thinking I know so much! I only know as much as God has seen fit to reveal to me thus far! I pray for clear eyes and open heart as I search the scriptures daily!

    Don’t give up.

We are constantly bombarded with information coming from all directions nowadays. It can feel overwhelming and exhausting at times, given the rate at which information is created and consumed in today's society.  This week, make an intentional effort to cut out some external information and input so you can do more internal reflection. One of the best ways to start this time of internal reflection is by reading Scripture. If you need a place to start, read through Luke 24 which details the resurrection and ascension of Jesus. Reflect on what those verses, no matter which you have chosen, mean for you and how it impacts you today. Make sure to share your story about how this time of internal reflection affected you!
