One at a Time

Today I shared my faith. I did not share it with someone who does not know God, but with someone who needed to be reminded how much God loves her. Sometimes our faith falters and the most important thing we can do is pray for someone. Not a prayer to yourself but an out loud or written prayer. Sharing your faith could just be building each other up.

The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 says, "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'" When we read this, we sometimes think of traveling across the country or across the world to share our faith with people that we never have met before. But what if the mission field you are called to is your workplace, your gym, your child's school, or your neighborhood? Oftentimes, God wants to use us right where we already are to make disciples. This week's challenge may seem simple, but it can make a massive and eternal impact. Share your faith with someone this week, and make sure to share your story on here to inspire others to do the same!
