I am a sixth grade teacher in a small rural school. I have a group of students whom I have grown to love since they started attending our school more than six years ago. These students are the reason I love my job so much. I respect them as much as they respect me. I treat them as if they were my own. I also apologize to them when I make mistakes. I truly believe that admitting fault to our youth will teach them that it’s okay to apologize. I know I only have 19 students, but it is my goal to teach them not only academics but also how to treat others and be kind.

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5: 16. You are also letting God's love shine through you! Bless you!
