Today I had the pleasure to share a resource with a homeless women that I found out has cancer and is waiting on disability/insurance. I was able to provide her with contacts to get the necessary treatment she needed. She mentions she ran out of minutes for her phone and needed to get buy more. I told her no worries I’ll run to the store and get some. I could have easily grabbed the $25 card and been done but I felt lead to grab two and a sandwich for her to have lunch. She gave me the biggest hug when I returned and thanked me for helping her in more ways she could have asked and said “this was a god moment”. I smiled and joy and said I’ll be praying for her and this process. Please keep her in your prayers that she gets the treatment that she needs!
