Even before I saw this challenge on the app, I started two months ago praying through a Psalm each morning. Before I start, I ask God to put in my heart what person needs to be the focus for my prayer. This morning I prayed for a pastor “J” who told me yesterday about a misunderstanding that caused the matter to be brought before some of the elder leadership. Today’s Psalm was Psalm 54, David’s prayer about when he was falsely accused. That pastor was so greatly encouraged when I texted about this cannot-be-a-coincidence timing!! In fact, “J” is now convinced that this misunderstanding will work the opposite of what Satan intended, with relationships restored and strengthen and all parties more spiritually mature in the end!
