About a week ago I say a post on social media from a girl I know through a former job I had years ago. The post was about her husband and how he was suffering from sleep apnea and that his machine to help him breathe at night had quit working. They'd been battling with the insurance company to replace it or fix it, but to no avail. I remember feeling sad for her, she has 3 young children and I just can't imagine being in that situation. I admit I wanted to help but was like what can "I" really do for her? Fast forward to Sunday and I see another post. Her husband had created a gofundme page and I knew in that moment that I needed to answer this call! THIS was IT! I donated some money to help toward his new machine. I knew it wasn't much but every little bit helps. There was a $1500 goal and he had about $500 maybe less already given. I prayed for him that he'd be able to get that money raised. I got an email THANKING me for my donation! I wasn't expecting that at all! When I went back to check the site he had raised MORE than the amount he was trying to. my heart was SO full and happy that maybe somehow I helped make a difference in this family's life. That's how we can make a difference. Answering the call...one at a time. ♥️
