I listened to this weeks challenge, and immediately thought of the Kroger pick-up lady I had last time. She’s been doing NTI with her child while working. I needed to pick up groceries anyways so I placed an order and asked that God would allow her to be the one to bring it out to us if it would be His will. A few hours went by, I had sort of forgotten, but sure enough she was one to bring us our groceries! I asked her how NTI was going with work, and told her how she had come to my mind while I was praying. She then shared that what she could really use prayer for was the custody battle she was in with her ex-husband, and opened up about some of the pain and feelings she had in this season. I asked if I could pray for her right now and she said yes. 😌As I loaded groceries into the car, I wrote my phone number on a piece of paper told her I was here if she ever needed anything- childcare, a meal, a friend, anything. And she said, “What about going to church with you?. I could really use that. “ Wow. Thank you God. Grateful for how these challenges are holding me accountable to live out my faith the way I desire, but often am too scared to.
